Change of terminal handling charge rules in Dubai – UAE

In Administrative Decision No. 2 of 2023, the Dubai Maritime Authority (DMA) has announced that, effective 1 November 2023, all Terminal Handling Charges (THCs), shifting charges, and truck loading / unloading fees at the Port of Jebel Ali, UAE, will be invoiced directly to customers by the Terminal Operator DP World and the affiliated Dubai Trade, no longer by the Carrier.

CargoGulf is fully complying with this directive.

The amount to be collected directly from DP World are as follows:

THC: AED 700 / 1100 per 20’/40’ (import and export) – hazardous containers plus 50%
TLUC: AED 314 / 314 per 20’/40’ (export containers only)

All other existing standard charges will continue to be invoiced by CargoGulf and its agents.
