We have received notification from the CEO of West Port Terminals (Port Kelang). We understand
That the charges are applicable for Northport too – so both terminals in Port Kelang, Malaysia.
He states :
“Further to the notice issued by Port Klang Authority, the Minister of Transport has approved the Port Klang
Authority (Scale of Rates, Dues and Charges) (Amendment) (No. 2) By-laws 2025 and was gazetted on 13 June 2025.
The revised tariff will be implemented in three phases. Phase One entails increases on key container, conventional
and marine tariff items, particularly terminal handling charges (THC), which will take effect on 15 July 2025”.
Further increases per January 1st, 2026 have been announced, and we will notify you accordingly, once those increases
are implemented by the port authority.
With effect from all loadings/dischargings per July 15th 2025, CargoGulf will amends its THC values to the following :
MYR 560 / 845 per 20’/40’ Standard Container
MYR 830 / 1310 per 20’/40’ Reefer Container or Hazardous cargo containers
These increases are fully in line with the rest of the market.
